I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it here or not, but David Cook from American Idol is a Blue Springs native and this weekend is the Idols Go Home weekend, so David Cook is here. There will be a parade down by the YMCA so I think I may strategically plan my workout today around the time of the parade and see if I can catch a glimpse of him. He is also performing a concert at the high school right next door to the Y. They gave away 10,000 tickets to a 6,000 seat stadium and I was in no way interested in fighting with a bunch of screaming kids, so I am passing on that. I’ll probably be able to see the highlights on the news tonight. Anyway, he will be on the radio station I am listening to right now in a few minutes, so it will be fun to hear about his experiences.

Hello everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start. I am having a relatively quiet morning so far so I thought I’d update here and then make some blog visits before I have to head off to taekwondo class. I am going to try to get to as many classes as I can this week and next because we test next Thursday (the 15^th) and I want to make sure I’m good and ready. After I get home I plan to do some house cleaning and maybe make a trip to the Goodwill to drop off some things that are taking up space in our garage. Once the weather improves (IF it ever improves long enough) I’d like to get out in the garage and really clean it up. Over the winter it became a catch all and then a couple of weeks ago April moved to the downstairs bedroom so a bunch of junk got stuck out there. I can hardly walk from my car to the house anymore.
